Awarding Competencies to multiple Recordholders an Approved Training Provider
This guide is intended for Training Provider users.
You will need to know the Surname, SkillGuard Number, and Date of birth of any recordholders being awarded competencies within SkillGuard.
- Log in to SkillGuard.
- From the Dashboard click on Assign Competencies or Click on the Competencies tab and select Add Competencies to Multiple People.
- Enter the recordholder's Surname, SkillGuard Number, and Date of Birth and click Search.
- Confirm the details from the populated record are correct, including their First Name and Primary Employer.
- Click on the relevant record and select Add to add the recordholder to the Selected People panel. This process can be repeated to add additional workers to the Selected People panel.
- Next, click on the tab for the type of competency to be awarded, i.e. National or Entity-Based.
- Start to type the competency name within the Competency box or click in the box and add a space to bring up a list of competencies available.
- Apply the Award Date, add Training Hours if and where applicable and then click Add.
- If required, Evidence can be added for the whole group by selecting Select Files next to All Selected People on the top row, or for a single individual by selecting Select Files next to their name. If a competency requires Evidence click the Select Files button, browse the file path, click Add Evidence Files to upload the file.
- Once the evidence has been added, the Select Files button, will change to View Files.
- Click Finish to award the competency to the selected workers.
