Ending a Recordholder's Employment, Sponsorship or Association
This guide is intended for Employer Admin users.
- Log in to SkillGuard.
- From the Dashboard click on Search for My People.
- Select the relevant recordholder and click Edit.
- Select the relevant history tab in the left-hand panel.
- This will be the Employment History tab if you are ending an Employment.
- Highlight your selection, click Edit and enter a Leave Date. Save the record.
A Leave Date cannot be backdated and must be today or a date in future. The change will be effective as of midnight on the date selected.
Once the primary employment has ended, if the recordholder had a secondary employer, this employer will now have the option to become their primary employer by going to the recordholder's Employment History tab and clicking the Make Primary Employer button.
