Ending a Recordholder's Employment, Sponsorship or Association

This guide is intended for Employer Admin users. 

1. Log in to SkillGuard.
2. From the Dashboard click on Search for My People.
3. Select the relevant recordholder and click Edit.
4. Select the relevant history tab in the left-hand panel. 
   
1. This will be the Employment History tab if you are ending an Employment.
5. Highlight your selection, click Edit and enter a Leave Date. Save the record.
   

 

A Leave Date cannot be backdated and must be today or a date in future. The change will be effective as of midnight on the date selected. 

 

Once the primary employment has ended, if the recordholder had a secondary employer, this employer will now have the option to become their primary employer by going to the recordholder's Employment History tab and clicking the Make Primary Employer button.
