Creating an Entity Association

This guide is intended for Employer Admin using the SkillGuard for Utilities platform.

Association provides Entities, such as utilities companies, with a view of key elements of a recordholder’s SkillGuard record related to their authority to work, without the need for a Swipe Relationship with that recordholder.
This allows the Entity to have visibility before and after a recordholder has attended site and had their card read.
A connection between the Entity and Employer must be established first. For information on how to request a connection click here: Entity and Employer Connection Request.

To create an association with a recordholder:
  1. Log in to SkillGuard.
  2. From the dashboard navigate to the Worker Entity Associations section and click on View/Edit Worker Entity Associations.
  3. Select the Entity.
  4. Select the relevant recordholder(s) to associate by marking the check box and click the Associate button. The Select All button provides the option to associate multiple recordholders at once.
